Hey wnogood, did you get your bearing yet? Wanting to see what you think about the cam, by the way what did the e-bay auction set you back on the 06 heads? Got outbid on that E-Bay SE 2-1 I was bidding on[:@]
Just picked up the bike from the dyno shop. I had these cams in my '06 roadie so really, no surprise. The only difference is the exhaust. the roadie had VH with modified PythonIII's. The ultra has Rineharts. The "Rinehart torque dip" is obvious on the dyno chart. The ultra made 4 more HP, but 2 less TQ. Peak is the same, right at 4000 rpms. I was supposed to get a 4 degree gear as well, to help low end torque, but looking at my receipt, I was not charged for it. I fear that they forgot to install it. A couple of things that the dyno guy said hurt my numbers is one, I only have 1200 miles on the bike, it needs to loosen up some. Two, the weather was miserable, 98 degrees and very high humidity.
I got the heads for $285.00. Very nice, almost new.
Hildreth heads? I'll pass. I have not heard anything good about his work. Overpriced and they do not perform.
