Security and neutral lights on.

So I'm ride down the road and look down at the dash. Both the red security light and the green neutral are on. I'm in gear and I don't have the security system installed on the bike. I try shifting gears a few time and the light stays on in every gear. I figure the neutral light may be a loose wire in the switch but I have no idea about the security light. Any one got an idea of what I should check? Thanks.

I don't know that it would make any difference but what model scoot are you riding?

Security light means your bike threw a diagnostic code. Easy to check. then look up the code and you will finds it's probably related to the neutral light being on

Mine did that when new, there was a problem with the o-ring on the neutral light sending unit. They used a thicker o-ring and that seems to be the fix, l haven't had that problem since.
