the above posters have covered you well. Don't forget a method of pumping up your tyre after using the plug kit. Some take a small air compressor gutted of all unnnecessary junk down to just the air comp/hose combo and the 12v power lead.
Others use CO2 cartridges with an applicator but if you go that route you should carry enough cartridges to filll twice just in case.
Sorry I can't advise accurately as to how many you would need to carry as I carry a small 12v air comp, but I would think 5 cartridges at a mimimum would be appropriate. Maybe another poster can add a recommended quantity.
Another handy tool is a 10mm combination wrench for the battery post screwbolts. They will take a phillips head but if they are too tight and you hog out the screwdriver slots, the small 10mm spanner will get you out of trouble.
Rain gear (x2 wifes and mine), chaps (x2), microfiber towels, tool kit, gloves, clear glasses for night time riding. That's just every day. There is a bunch more if I/we are going on a trip.
first aid kit, basic tools, tire plug kit, mini air compressor, rain gear, extra clothes, gloves, road flares, fuses, flash light, road atlas, jiffy stand disk, reflective vest.
