The tech didn't change anything when installing the 4" mufflers. They fit onto the stock headpipe without any problem. These are definitely going to be a winner.
tagging in...... wanna hear more about these.. I have V&H Dreeser duals...with V&H Twin-Slash Ovals.... they just sound a little ....uhhh....thin?...weak? NOT DEEP ENOUGH.....
looking for alternatives OTHER THE MONSTERS .....$600+ really???
CFRs are also 4". They have not only a very deep sound, probably the deepest on the market (I've heard dozens of pipes before buying them), they also have a very distinctive look. $600 for a new set of mufflers. Seems to be the norm for top of the line slip-ons.

Yeah, are they louder than the MO's? same as MO's or louder/same as the standard rinehart slip ons? Or just a quiet low rumble. I'm running the standard rinehart slip ons w/ a 103 build and love the bark, but if the 4" will be just as loud with a deeper note I might be interested .
I just got off the phone with Rinehart. They have a much deeper rumble according to them than the regular slip on's they make. They do not have a comparison with Monster Oval's but I would be they sound great! We can also get you discounted pricing on them.
might be a stupid question, but.......
are the slip-ons just that. Do I have to up-grade the intake or anything.
I ask because my wife's RK still has the stock exhaust and we are going to sturgis next month, so I thought I would just get her some slip-ons if it didn't cost too much.
But if we have to change the intake with download and a PC it will be more that I want to spend right now

If you just add slip-ons you should be ok, the ECM will adjust. Once you start adding more intake air and exhaust; then you should get it mapped with a Stage 1 or get a fuel manager like PC. Just my 2 cents worth.

Louder and throatier then the stock Rineharts and in my opinion as loud or a bit louder than M. Ovals. A cleaner sound.
