Default Single disc on touring Front

I know this has been talked about before ,I put a Hawg Halters 6 piston caliper with same harley polished floating 11.5 rotor and this thing STOPS BETTER.Same type of pads Lyndall z .I was a bit worried about its stopping ability, but I am thrilled.My wheels are chromed and it looks great.Bike is an 04 flhtc Classic.

mine stops great too with a jaybrake 6 piston left caliper. but be ready for the onslaught of crap you're gonna catch from some people here who KNOW you are WRONG even tho they have absolutely zero experience with the setup.

I want to do this setup as well, but since my bike is an 08 it already has Brembo brakes and I don't want to mess with it. I love the way it looks and I have a couple club brothers that ride with this exact set up. After making numerous inquiries, they all say it stops just as good, if not better, than stock. I agree with the previous posters, history tells me you are about to get flamed!!!

BUT I HEARD ON THIS FORUM FROM PEOPLE WHO ONLY HAVE HAD 2 ROTORS and never ran just 1 THAT 2 IS BETTER then having a 4 or 6 piston on just one side.

i'e also have a single 6 piston hog halter with a 13" disc and my bike stops great also. i also changed my front master cylinder to one from an 06 wide glide (stock single disc).

You must ask youself, does it stop great or better.
Converting motion to heat, surface area needed?

Form then function . . .
Function then form . . .

My main reason buying an 10' RG from an 04' RG
was the anti-brakes.

96', 6sp, 6 gal, wheels/tires and frame was a bonus. . .

you forgot to mention the heater on the motor and catalytic convertor is also standard on the 2010
