I'm due new tires. I have Michelin Commanders on now and absolutely love them! But I've heard so much about the E3s I would consider switching over.
Has anyone road with both? I don't see how the E3's could be much better then the Michelins.
I've never used Michelin on my bikes but I use Michelin on my cars and they're awesome. I have several friends who have Michelin Commanders on their bikes and they wouldn't use something else.
Michelin doesn't carry the size I need for my new Ultra (the 09 has a 180 rear tire) otherwise I'd mount one. I'll go with a Dunlop American Elite when they're released, to replace the Dunlop 407 I have now. The Elite 3 is a very good tire and I have used 2 in the past, but from I heard from people who used both, the Commander seems to be superior.
Seems like those with the E3 are very happy with them. But so are those with the Michelines. The good thing is the tires for our scooters are getting better! I always ran Dunlaps till my dealer suggested I try the Commanders. I didn't know any better I guess. Or had a choice!
