I know there has been alot of posting about this issue and this product, I just put mine on today. I watched the video and scaned the instruction, it could not have been easier. I did not have to take off my exhaust just loosen it, put a gear wrench on the bottom bolt, ratched the top bolt. popped out the three screw on the back of the transmission as directed. i put the brace on the transmission with the new supplied screws (torqued), i put on the other brace (torqued the bolts). this is the only problem i had at this point was there was powder coating in the threads of the side brace, had to go to my neighbor (HD Brother) to get a 3/8-16 tap to clean the thread. once that was done alittle blue lock tite put the link on (male end on the tranny female on the side bracket) and i was done total time 38 min. not that i was racing but it was that easy. took it for a test drive and a very notable difference. i don't feel that dirt bike feel to it, like your tire is swining out from behind you in a curve. sorry no pictures had the after thought when it was done i got to get my mind when doing project, i read how important pictures are on the forum.
i put mine on last month i didnt use lock tite cause the instuctions didnt say to but i will say i you dont have one you are missing out the best money spent i love that solid feel that my streetglide has
I was skeptical since reading about these links for 08 and earlier baggers. Because the product was from Progressive and it was being sold for 138 dollars shipped, i bought one. The ride was an improvement. Before the install i was thinking of getting new rear shocks because my bike felt little under shocked going through bumpy roads. Since the install the ride has firmed up and made the bike feel more stable. I'm not even considering getting new shocks anymore.
I'm not saying it's a must have. My bike is and was never a road racer and these bike could be ridden as is without it. Since putting it on i personally like how my bike rides now.

+1. It's not a road racer but now i can "play" without problems and don't want to trade it for '09 and later models
Two up cornering has improved dramatically (My wife is not a small lady). One up I would have to say maybe. There was an increase in vibration. some seems to have gone away, almost as though it bedded in. What is left I have got used to. I had two issues, 1) the new plate went in at an angle and since this is not mentioned in their blurb I thought I had done something wrong or had got a faulty kit, 2) if you use the lock washers the main plate bolts do not go in as far as they used to, which left me a little nervous. Rang Progressive, response was 1) this is the way it is supposed to be and 2) no issue but if you are concerned leave the lock washers off.
