Every now and then it sounds like I have pissed off crickets coming out my exhaust. But, I figured it out.. It only happens on concrete roads. Stops as soon as I hit asphalt... Had me goin nuts. Thought exhaust leak, bad baffle... Nope. Just the material I'm riding on.. LOL..
Ha Ha Never heard it put like that before. it most likely your rear exhaust mount. The rubber grommet will make a hell of a chirping sound when they get bad. It's only a few bucks at the dealer.

Nah, Grommet is good. Just mounted the pipe a month ago. It's the sound bouncing off the concrete.. Not the pipe at all.. On blacktop it's non existant. In my driveway, all stone nothing.

I have those same damn crickets....I went nuts myself for a while, then discovered the same thing you are talking about...only on concrete roads...I tightened and re-tightened everything....and I only have the slip-ons...
