I had the feeling that I am lttle cramped with the backrest in most rearward position so I added a longer screw on the front of the bracket and a spacer. It made a difference.

JB,

My backrest did'nt quite angle back far enough either. I put mine in a press and put a slight bend in the bars right under the cushion, now it's perfect and so very comfortable.
