Do a search and I think you will find the info you want. Awhile back there were threads on this very subject. Some said if you put a 150 on, it would hit the belt guard. Some said otherwise. I'm sure the 150 is available in an E3 for the 08.

160 hits but a lot of reading here when I searched said the 150 fits fine.. Where I get my tires they said no 150 in teh e3.. I can get a 160 but I dont have the cash for a wider rim and dont feel like notching out the belt guard..
Whats comperable to the E3 but in a 150? I really want the e3's after rteading all teh good reviews here. So if I have to I'll just run the stock size.. It's not that big of a deal just wondering if anyone had luck or knows if my tire guy is wrong.
I'm running E3's on my 08 UC. mine are the size Dawg listed in his post on this thread....Dunlop E3 Users - MU90 or 160/80 Rear??? I bought them from Jakewilson.com Great prices and fast service. Check for coupons if you order from him. might be able to save some $$$ I paid 196.00 for both front and rear delivered to my door in two days.
I just did a search after I posted. The thread I think will answer your question's is...Dunlop E3 Users - MU90 or 160/80 Rear???
Thanks Ron, I ran through that thread before too.. Guess I wasnt looking at what I needed to.. Seems that the MU90B16 is 25.72 inches tall by 5.57 inches wide is gonna be the tire for me..
there has ben a couple guys in here that run the 160 with no notched in the gaurd on a 3 inch rim however the 160 is designed for the 3.5 rim, dont think id go that route but it has ben done.

Ya, I think if it fits it still rounds out the tire and take away from the intended footprint leaving less contact with the road.. If I cant do it right I'm not doing it.. When I get the cash for new rims i'll get the 160. But looks never outweighs safety. And ya can barely see the tire anyway.
I been running the 160 on my 04 FLHT with
no issues. Went with the MU (140) this time
because of cost. Getting ready to leave on a
long trip and going to chew up half of it. It is
a little skinny but figure it should handle a little
better. Dennis Kirk has them shipped for $113.
