you're going to really enjoy your new bike. nothing else needs to be done to it as far as richening up anything. it'll be just fine, because the 02 sensors and the ecm compensate for minor changes like air cleaners and pipes. congratulations and welcome to the forum. there's a lot of valuable information in here, although you need to sift through it at times.

Thanks to everyone who helped. I just installed the V&H Twin Slash Round Slip ons tonight. It was a piece of cake. Took about 25 min from start to finish. I am very pleased with the sound. It has a nice low rumble at idle now but barks much more than stock when you get on it. Still easy to hear the radio while cruising though. If anyone is looking for that type of exhaust I would recommend Twin Slash. On a side note... My brother has an 08 Street Glide Anniversary Edition completely stock. After hearing my 09 Street Glide he now wants a little more sound to his. I have read elsewhere as well as in the replies to this post that if you just change the pipes to slip ons such as the ones that I got you don't need to change anything else because the computer can compensate for it. Is that correct on the 08's as well? Thanks in advance.

I'd say about 90 % of all new Harley owners dont plan to put extra stuff on their bikes but that does not last long, especially if you hang out here on this forum and especially in the following section

Welcome to the sliopery slope, enjoy the ride, start thinking
