Its a personal thing, but I would pay EXTRA for cast wheels, and they are the cheaper
way to go. Just like vivid black... That is the ONLY color for me, and I would pay extra
for vivid black and its the cheapest color you can buy...... Just my lucky day I guess.............. hdman
Just spoke with the Dealer where I'm buying my RK. The only other RK's he has with Mag wheels don't have ABS. The one I'm buying does. Looks like I'll get the Chrome should I say wire wheels? Thanks for all the input Guy's.
The Dealer called and offered to swap out for a set of brand new takeoff's from a 2010 SG. I like those mags, I might do that! Thanks for everyones input.
I have had the RK and admit the spokes are cool, but a pain in the but.
Spokes have to be serviced occasionally to be sure the rim stays true. Additionally, they are hard to keep clean and rust is always a problem. And finally, the OPs about tubes are true. PITA if you have a flat on the road. Most dealers will not replace the tube abd not try to sell you a new tire as well. Happened to me about 3 years ago. tire had about 600 miles on it when I had a flat. Did not see the need for a new tire. Service department refused to do the job, so i had it towed to an indy who did an inside hot patch and sold me a new tube.
