Default Street Glide kick stand and lowering

I have a 2010 Street Glide. Being vertically challenged I am installing Progressive 430 shocks on the rear (1/2 inch shorter from stock) and for the front I purchased the monotube lowering kit (1 to 2 inches) .....I am only lowering the front 1 inch. My question is has anyone tried this and if so did you have to replace your kickstand. I had a fatboy lowered 1 1/2 inches and had no issues but no sure about my bagger .....DISCUSS

I have the 11.5" 440's, with front lowering kit also. No need to change kickstand or anything. It still leans over pretty good.

yeah it's hard to say how much for sure. Probably lowered the seat around an inch. I am 5'5 and tried the lowering blocks which worked but I didn't like the shock angle. I can now flat foot pretty easily. You just need to be aware that you may bottom out with a passenger. My wife and I are around 310 together. It has not been a big issue for us. But if it happens it will eventually cut the wires under the fender. Good luck.

Default Lowering bike

I've got 10 3/4" bitchen bagger shocks in the rear and 1" lower in the front. Bike sits alittle more up right but I never had to change out the kick stand.
!8" front wheel and 16 rear wheel.
