need help with 06 sg

have a great bike, cant afford to upgrade til at least 2012. Have not done much outside of stage 1 and SE slip ons. (performance wise) lookin to liven things up a bit without a rebuild (I will wait til 2012). Lookin for perofrmance upgrades that wont break the bank and upgrade the exhaust. Approx $1500-$2000. is the limit. Any info would be great.thx

Why wait till 2012. For about $1500 you can do a big bore kit now.

You can upgrade the exhaust by taking the baffles out and going with Big City Thunder header baffles. Excellent sound and the right amt of back pressure for the big bore kit. 100 bucks. Check out the website Bigcitythunder.com
