Some of you may have read my post regarding the heat shield on my bike that was defective from the factory. Yes, a minor cosmetic flaw but still should not have been present on a $21,000 motorcycle.
The MoCo refused to replace it under the warranty and from the time lapse, I really couldn't blame them. They could have stepped up to the plate and took care of a loyal owner but it didn't happen.
Then along comes HDForum member "1fathog" who offers me a shield and sends it out by Priority Mail without asking me for a dime.
I am forever grateful for his kindness and generosity and hopefully I can return the favor to him or another forum member in the future.
Props definitely to 1fathog!! I got one from a member here for the $6.00 shipping. There are quite a few members here that I would share a cold one with. They have definitely helped me out many times
