I need the room to move around and only shift the only way I have learned.

Question for a Sunday evening just is how many have there heel shifter on and how many of you don't?
I've got you beat. Had mine off in 3 1/2 minutes. LOL

Off, gone, vamoose!
Wife gets a new scoot (after riding with me for 6 years) and says, "what's that thing? (pointing to the rear shifter)", "I don't like it".
So it's off, gone, vamoose!

Heel shifter is the first thing that comes off a new bike. I much prefer the extra floorboard room than being able to use my heel to shift, especially since my toe is perfectly competent to do the job. I like it this way, just like I like manual-shift cars and will never own one with a slush-box.

All my shift movements go down. Down - down down down down down and Down - down down down down down whether up or down shifting. I like using both shifters.

Took a couple of days to get used to it, but I use the heel shifter all the time, wouldn't be without it now. I've never felt that I needed more room on the foot board either, after 14,000 miles. Just sayin.
