Default Do you Give A Shift????

To see how many use there heel shifters or not I posted this to see what the consensus is. I don't use it after all of my years of riding and never had one from the age of 3 until I got my ultra classic and that was the first thing to come off 5 minutes into the garage. I need the room to move around and only shift the only way I have learned.

Question for a Sunday evening just is how many have there heel shifter on and how many of you don't?

I couldn't operate a bike without a heel shifter! That's how much I use it... every bike I have owned has had one.

I use the heel shifter about 2% of the time.
My big toe needs a break once in a while..

I only leave mine on because it keeps my foot from sliding off of the board on the long interstate runs.

First thing I did was take mine off. I had one on my Fatboy and it got in the way more than I used it.

Took mine off, needed more room for my foot. Don't miss it at all.

Never like them, been the first thing I removed from every Harley I've owned. Watched a friend stretch out on a ride and repositioned his feet and his boot heel hung up on the heel shifter and BANG there went his trans.
