Well, it won't make your scoot run "leaner" unless it is programmed to do that, but it probably isn't. All maps that I've ever seen enrichen the mixture in most places, not the other way around.
I would keep the PCIII, especially if the bike is running well. Where did you buy the tuner? If you bought it from Fuel Moto like most people here it probably has a good map already installed, unless you've made changes since that time.
