Default Axle Nut Torque Adapter

Thought I saw on a previous thread about how to eliminate using the HD Axle Nut Torque Adapter. Searched and it comes up with nothing on the subject. I know I could probably just pull the muffler on the right side and use a socket ( which I do not have that size and would have to buy also ) but it just seems quicker to use this adapter which I cannot find in the parts catalog or on Chicago HD site. Waiting now for the local dealer to open to see if they have one and how much it is going to cost. May just pull the other muffler and buy the correct socket if it is too costly.

Several aftermarket wrenches available. I may have bought mine on E-bay, I think it was about $20. If you lower the Right side exhaust you don't need it.
You could check some of the online dealers for price.

I haven't used them yet, but have both a 36mm socket and a 38mm adjustable, courtesy Ebay, just in case! The other thread may be this one?

Kastar has a nice ratcheting one. 36mm is the socket size BTW in case you go that way. JIM's tools also has a gizmo that they call something like 3rd hand or something like that which allows you to put it on the left side instead of using two wrenches
