Does it matter if I buy a rear H-D rotor or after market. I called 3 shops & 1 told me I should only buy H-D rotors but the only difference I see is in the very high price for one freaking rotor. I let my rear pads get too low & it ate the inside of my rotor so now I'm doing pads & rotor but curious if it really matters what rotor i go with as long as I change the pads every year?
Debrix.com has a few for $50 instead of $212 from the dealer or other local shops.
Anyways thanks for all responses unless someone can actually give a good reason I think I'll go with the $50 rotor friday. I don't mind putting high quality parts on the bike but material & thickness wise I can find no differences so why pay more? lol
HD doesn't made their aftermarket rotors, Sunstar does but Sunstar does not sell rotors retail, just sprockets. They only make rotors for the OEM market.
I am looking at EBC floating rotors for my Superglide. I am just purchasing a style I like from a reputible company.
