Geez.. so there it was some kind of rattle I could not get figure out while motoring down the street at 10 MPH - after that I can not hear anything...old ears...
Then one day my buddy noticed that my jiffy stand was bouncing off the frame..
Removed the spring with a pair of pliers with little effort...
$6.00 for a new spring and all my problems gone..
I should noticed that my jiffy stand was getting sloppy on parking but the bike never rolled away

Those jiffy stand springs are known to break, it's a GREAT idea to carry a new/spare one in your saddle bags cuz having your jiffy stand dragging on the ground is a problem.
They've broken on me twice before is how i know. You'll find a spare in my saddle bag believe me...
