Seat Modification
I bought a 2010 Street Glide seat for $40 to swap out every once in awhile. I notice that the underside of the seat is different that the stock 08 seat and even the reach seat I have. There are 4 points on the underside that look to be where it rests on the frame. However the stock seat and the reach seat dont have these.
I love the reach seat and how it feels. The Street glide seat gives it a different look and feel. However....here is my question:
Has anyone cut these 4 points of the underside of their seat and if so, what effect did you have. It looks like it will lower the seat another 1".
If you have experience with this or know of someone that does....let me know.
