Gear Drive Cams
I was thinking of doing some of the tw6 woods cams with the kit from jamie at Fuelmoto. I plan to do this once and be done. Is there a benefit if I decide to change over to the gear driven cam system. Anybody out there done this and was is what you expected. I want to go in there once, not again and again and deal with a tensioner. Thanks

Despite your best intentions, it's rarely "once & done".
Honsestly, there's nothing wrong with the late model roller chain setup. Heck, I replaced a gear drive setup with a roller chain conversion on my (05) 124.

i have an 06 ultra that i have owned since new.after the warranty expired i went with andrews cams and s&s gear drive.i am completely satisfied with this set up.i also did the 95 big bore at the same time.

Most folks replace the crappy old style spring loaded chain tensioners that were in their TC88s with gears or the new hydro kit. Your newer bike's already got the new style hydro kit. Why bother?
New cams yes, but gears are a different issue.
