Chrome switch cover install on a 2010 FLHRC
My wife saw a buddies chrome switch covers a few weeks ago and spoke about how they were a nice contrast on the handlebars. Next time that we went to Corpus Christi Harley Davidson, she hands me a package of chrome switch covers.
OK, nothing eventful YET! Wait for it; ever try to shove two monster hands inside a lower switch cover that was made for a small Malaysian boy's hands. They don't fit well to say the least.
I was smart enough to breathe, without cursing, while trying to line up the cruise control - lower locking plate - turn signal which all have to go in at the same time to fit properly. Took me about 35 minutes to get it to line up, but once again, I didn't force anything and took my time. When I got to the right switch, it took me about 5 minutes.

I opened the first cover and decided to give the job to the nimble fingers at my dealer. Too many tiny parts and not enought patience. Cost a few bucks but worth it for me. I agree it does look nice.
