Default Wireless earbuds/phones??

Anyone use wireless earbuds/phones with a GPS/MP3, that don't cost over ~$100?
If so, what brand, how's the comfort with a full-face helmet, and how do they sound?

Thanks, and best regards,

Gary

These Sennheiser MX W1 wireless earbuds are a bit pricey. $ 499.95, how many do you want? I have always been interested in wireless earbuds. I just don't know enough about them.

Yikes those things are expensive!!

I'd use the hard wire earphones provided with my iPhone before going wireless if that's what a set of wireless earphones costs.

I have a set of Motorolla bluetooth head phones, they are more like earbuds with a solid neck strap. I think I paid $40 for them on Amazon. I paid another $20 for a bluetooth adapter for my ipod. They work really well if the ipod is in the windshield bag and I can control the volume on the headphones which is nice while riding

I got tired of the earbud wires getting caught on everything so I went with wireless earbuds. Sony makes some nice ones and they come with a bluetooth adapter if you don't have one on your phone. It's pretty easy to link up to your phone. here's a tutorial

I enjoy blue tooth with the Motorola S-10 HD, can wear under half helmet, tremendous sound, good range, excellent for phone too. Under 100 bucks, sometimes on sale around 60. Great value.

I tried the Motorola when they first came out with a Bluetooth adapter and my Zumo 550..Did not have very good luck as it kept dropping the signal and I was sitting on the bike, with the Zumo with in arms reach.I wanted this setup to work but it was very buggy..Plus not stereo, maybe things have now changed..

I picked up a Plantronic Bluetooth headset that worked well if I wasn't on my scoot. As I rode, the signal would regularly drop out. The signal range was supposed to be 35ft. but wouldn't go more than 10 ft. before dropping out when I wasn't on my bike.
I came to find out that motorcycles generate their own electrical frequency around the bike from it running, I believe referred to as ETMF's. I kept my phone in my top pocket and reduced the distance from one to the other to less than a foot, and the music still dropped out on me. I returned them and have been going with corded ones for the moment, but rarely even want or need music on the road.
My $0.03
