Default Radio Problem

I have a 2007 Ultra Classic and the radio quits playing here and there. Sometimes the radio work 5 minute and then it will work for 3 hours. All Ihave to do is switch the speaker switch to a different position. Ithought it was the switch itself so i replaced the $81 swicth and still does the same thing. Any advice will help.

Contact Iron Cross Audio:

http://www.ironcrossaudio.com/

IIRC, they've repaired an audio circuit that breaks due to vibration. Many here have used them, myself included, and speak highly of their work and customer service.

FWIW, if you check Hogtunes website, you'll find a recommendation of ICA for HK repairs in their Tech section.

ICA is best way to go. They will make your HK unit better than new.

My '08 Ultra is doing the same thing. I found that the brackets on the inside of fairing were broken causing quite a good bit of shake to the fairing, this probably caused something to come loose in radio. I am going to send my radio to iron cross. Make sure you check the brackets and repair them.

Same problem here....HD is going to replace it. I'm going to a aftermarket Kenwood KVI700 when HD replaces the radio.
