Met a guy and his wife a few years ago. He looked down his nose at my bike and said "I don't need a stereo, I listen to my pipes." he then proceeded to tell me how he would never ride a "URINAL." What an assh0le! Calling the fairing on my bike a URINAL!

We really liked the couple and we were planning some rides together . . . never returned our emails.

Needless to say, he isn't a riding friend of ours. Not my choice really, it's his.

Good riddance.

I got 10,500 miles on 2010 Road King, I'm hoping to have at least 15K on it before the year is over.

Ya gotta laugh at that one, though........

One of the guys I work with has an 03 CVO Deuce. That bike is flat gorgeous! And it's got less than 7000 miles on it. I keep offering to put some more miles on it for him, but so far he hasn't taken the bait.

Bikes like that need to be ridden!!!!

I will never understand why guys buy a bike and then leave it in the garage. Why bother owning one if you are going to just let it sit.

That's right. I guess it is just to say they own a Harley. I'd rather say I ride a Harley and mean it.

I'm with him on the pipes, but the guy's off base on the urinal thing. Run what you like. If I want music I'll pull up next to my buddy's SG while we're riding. My '05 RKC sees more than 15,000 mi. a year with no windshield - bugs are tasty !
