I'm having a hard time finding an OEM clutch kit for an 07 Road King. The H-D site shows a screaming eagle kit, but I want a simple replacement. I should'nt have drag raced that 18 wheeler. He was coming down on me real fast.
I've been told by local H-D parts that the screaming eagle kit won't fit my hub? The H-D parts site does not bring up a replacement kit.
It would seem that the dealer would have access to OEM discs and plates in case of manufactoring defect.
I don't want to go with an aftermarket, unless there is no option.

They do have access. It's right in the parts book. Here's the page showing the pn#'s in your bike
Please note that page shows for an '08. You are looking for an '07. You have to buy the complete Clutch pack, $500 + approx. They do not sell the individual plates, etc. I just had to do it on my '07 SG. Three broken teeth off the Ring gear.
I have the parts book for the '07 (not in front of me), but YES YOU CAN BUY THE DISCS ALONE. They DO cost as much as the SE discs, so you might as well buy the SE ones. I remember posting this a couple of weeks before for you.... You CAN use the SE discs with your stock hub. I'm running them in my '07 right now. As I posted earlier, find a new dealer....
Hey guys. I had asked this question before and guess I had a brain fart. I will probably go with the screaming eagle preformance kit. Fitment appears to be right. I know in the past folks suggested finding a new dealer.
The next closest dealer is 1-2 hours away. There is a good dealer within twenty minutes. A Honda dealership.
