I had a stage 1 done and the bike vibrates in the floor boards and highway pegs at certian rpms Would a set of xieds richen it up enough to get rid of the vibration?
To make it short will a lean running motor cause vibration?
Mine has a stage one on it, I just had the cam tensioners replaced and mine is acting exactly like what you describe, I would like to know the answer to this vibration too.

my 2006 flhri had the stage one done on it before i bought it. it shakes real bad at idle.more than most ive seen. other than that, its smooth as silk. i have noticed that when i'm out and about riding and after the bike gets much hotter, the timing retards a bit and the idle is very smooth. have been wondering what i can do about the idle shake. it has the shifter moving up and down pretty bad at idle.

not sure I totally understand, so when it gets warmed up it idles better then when cold, or is this a typo?

thats exactly right.when you first crank it and for as long as it sits until youre ready to roll, its shakin and bakin. but if i happen to ride into town in the summer like today and stop at a traffic light after a few miles, the idle is smooth as can be. i say idel but i should say the motion of the rubber mounted engine. the idle itself is fine. the engine is just all over the place.
i read that as the fuel injected twin cam motor heats up, the computer retards the timing as needed. i assume this is what is smoothing things out. its not a big deal. just not something that i am used to.
