For out and about I usually wear my WileyX P-17's, long rides WileyX SG-1's. The SG-1's have a foam seal and come with an interchangeable elastic band or regular over the ear arms and pop out lenses so you can go from shaded to clear for night riding.. Check out SportRX.com
Thanks Guys. To all those twits out there who knock this forum, they should read this post. Less than 24 hours and i have got all kinds of real world information back
I am getting fed up with a blast of air right into the corners of both eyes. I am currently using a 12" recurve Clearview on my EG and am looking at other screens, Long Rider and V stream, but was wondering about goggles and or wrap around glasses. Does anyone have any thoughts? Note I have prescription glasses and wear a 3/4 helmet.
Talk to your Optometrist, or those near you. There are quite a few that sell prescription motorcycle goggles.
Consider a pair of prescription goggles. I have bought 5 pair of prescription glasses online from this place. All were good priced (starting at under bucks) and they have goggles too. http://www.zennioptical.com/home.php It IS worth looking at..
I also use 7-eye Churada's. Have one pair dark tinted and another with transition lenses for cloudy days and after dark. Local HD dealer has several different 7-eye styles to try on. Different styles fit different size heads. Found the one that fit, then ordered from SportRX. Exellent glasses.
I have tried everything as far a prescription eye wear and I have found the best thing for me is a pair of full size plastic frame RayBans, they work great no air blast from anywhere especially around the nose and they don't distort like all the wrap around types.
I also went with the Wiley X. I had a local optician do Progressive bifocals, and the Transition lenses. While they don't get as dark as regular sunglasses, I'm happy with them. Plus, since they don't have as much wrap as other sunglasses, I really don't notice any distortion.
