Did you really believe Harley had a price decrease????? Despite what most people would have you believe Harley's increases over the last 10 year have been very modest. But no decreases.
not completely true. due to a price decrease, my '08 Fatboy's MSRP was $2000 more than the '09 Fatboy's MSRP.
I like the idea the the MOCO finally came out with a Road Glide Ultra, but the colors... blech! Now if Sedona Orange were an option, I'd give some consideration to one.
Outside of the CVO's the colors suck IMO. I didn't find a single standard color that I would buy. They are all hideous. The worst color selection I can remember.
The RG Ultra isn't really an Ultra. More a Road Glide Classic. Outside of the lowers it doesn't look much different than mine.
But this is my current lust!!! If put on the spot I'd be hard pressed to pick a color. I seriously think it would come down to a coin toss.
I like the duals on the Street Glide. I wish they didn't get ride of them on my 2010. I'm not sure on what pipes I want yet and may just get the 2011 pipes to put on my 2010.
They must have scrimped on the photographer. The same colors look different from model to model. The Merlot/Red from 2010 looks completely different in 2011.
Really like the Fuglly Ultra..... Its a bike that doesnt LOOK like a Batwing Ultra. Clean lines, no Harley Clutter and chrome do-dads as standard Equipment. Hey, it is what it
is and that is a well designed Harley TOUR bike. It stands alone. Yes, it is in the Harley
tradition, but Not a clone of the batwing. I'm NOT bashing the batwing. I own one and
like the bike very much. I think Harley has a WINNER on its hands with this new Bike....
Yeah, There is a NEW definition of FUGLY.... Just look at the Fugly Ultra. Man, I love the
look, and if you are not sold on this bike, just ride this model and you will walk away with
your attitude adjusted. That is if you are truly honest with yourself......... Just my opinion.............hdman
Although there wasn't some gigantic earth shaking change this year, I think Harley did good. Dropped a few models, added a few others in the line of bikes that sell better. I think the 103 option (PowerPak) is a great idea. It gives a choice to buyers instead of just getting whatever Harley decides you should get on a particular model. Kinda like back in the '30's and '40's when you could choose between a 61" or 74" or even a Flathead 80". I didn't check out the colors because I am a basic black color kind of guy and I personally don't find the swoopy looking 2-tones good looking. But that's just me. I do like the return of duals to the Street Glide models.

.........
......... though i gotta admit that that orange & black CVO SG really looks good !
Lowest price point possible for entry-level tourer is my guess. (???)
Like most, nothing really rocked my world, because I'm very happy with my current ride -- ABS RK Police with the 103. Nothing new there for me to jump at right now.
If I were new to the Harley market, I guess I'd be all googly-eyed as I have been in the past.
..Gotta agree with ya..not googly-eyed here either..and I'm still happy with my 05 FLHTI TC88..even after all the major changes..she looks and runs better than the day she rolled off the line (30K miles later though!) not enough changes to get into a bank payment again!
