As others have said, sounds like a cupping tire. You should be able to see the cupping, look at the center/side of the tread, if it looks like its wearing uneven, its cupping.

Thanks all. The tire was cupped, so the dealer changed to the newer tire. However, the "slalom" effect is still there. It's just bizarre...the bike very gently leans a little left, then leans a little right, left again, etc. as I ride along. It will also do this during turns, so that gets a bit disconcerting. Otherwise, it's just like riding your bike in a weave exercise through a straight line of cones that are spaced far apart.

Anyway, thanks again for all of the advice. I'll be visiting the dealer again today since I'm still under warranty.

Hope you get it figured it out especially if it's happening in the turns. My suggestion would be after they "fix it" take it out for a test ride. If it's still doing the same thing leave it there and have them "try again" not worth riding home just to ride it back again.

Actually when I read the title I thought maybe you and the OL were spooning.

It's a puzzle. At highway speeds, it's not discernable at all. Slower speeds, 20 - 35 is when I feel it. I talked to the dealer again yesterday, and they have some ideas of things they want to try. I'll let them have the bike while I'm on vacation next week and see if they can figure it out. They've been great to work with.

The spooning thing is always good...I'll stop short of bragging about it! Thanks!
