You coming to the ozarks huh. I'll try to get on here tonight and give you some ideas.
Since your coming from Texas another idea would be to come up scenic HWY 7 from Hot Springs to Russelville, then take I40 to Ozark, right on Hwy 23 to Brashears, right on Hwy 16 to St. Paul, right on Hwy 16 to Deer, left on Hwy 7 to Harrison area...then on to Diamond City (Bull Shoal SP).
You just can't miss Hwy 23 dubbed as the Arkansas Pig Trail. Absolutely beautiful in September/October.
Branson MO is within 30 minutes of Harrison.
Like I said...I'll try to get on here tonight and give you some more ideas.

Great ridding and our host hotel was super.
We stayed at the Roadway Inn and Swiss Resort.
The owner is also a biker and he took us on rides each day on the best roads he knows as well as cooking for and partying with us each night.
I found a really great great side show on the way there.
Just north of Clinton Ar on US65 is the
*Natural Bridge of Arkansas*
This is a must do, not for the bridge but for the ride down to and back up from the bridge, There is a 2,500 foot drop in elevation in about a dozen switchbacks.
Not a fast ride but a thrilling one.
Here is what 56 Heritage springers look like all lined up on Bever lake dam north west of Eureka Springs.
North West Arkansas has some of the very best bike ridding in America.

Make Jasper one of your stops. The roads around Jasper is a hoot. You are close to Push Mountain Road, another great ride.
If you make it to Jasper, go to either the Ozark Cafe (good food) or Cliff House (great View).
Google them, you won't be sorry.
