i use a tank bag for long trips and it has a very big clear pocket on the front/top designed for maps. i throw my gps and mp3 right in there so i can see/use them while im riding, i bet its almost the perfect size for an ipad. if anyone out there is weird enough to want to access to your ipad while your riding, should look for that.
