Default Silver engine anymore

I might be wrong... but it looks like you cant get a silver engine in a touring bike anymore. Kinda sucks I guess. When I got my 09, didnt know if I would dig it. Tell ya what, I love it.

I'm with ya on that...Love the silver Engine and it'd be a bummer if it's not available anymore.

No matter, got one and keeping it. Like the all black units with black cylinders without high lighted fins.

I like a silver engine with black jugs, it's an old school look. Also have seen some silver engines with black rocker boxes that looked pretty sharp.

Cool

The EG standard was one of the main bikes they put silver engines on. They stopped making the standard because it was too similar to the SG. Why sell a bike for 15 grand when they can milk you for 22? Silver engines rule!

Many years ago when I didnt own a Harley, both my buddies did. One had a silver powdercoat engine, the other the black. From that day I loved the look of silver powdercoat and super happy I finally got mine.
