Default Asking Price for Ultra

I just purchased a 2010 SG and would like to sell my 2005 Ultra (28K miles). The Ultra has a bad inner cam bearing. It also has a TON of extras along with new Drive Belt, Tires & Brakes. There is a pic in my Sig. What would be a fair asking price for this?

Kelly Blue Book Retail for my area is around $14,500.
That doesn't take into consideration your 'bad bearing'.
Added accessories doesn't seem to add much to the price. If you have the original pieces, I'd recommend removing any accessory that you'd plan on putting on your new bike. Maybe sale some of the others on e-Bay.

Without consulting the book, and assuming you actually want to sell it...maybe $11K?

How much does it cost to repair the problem? I think you are limiting your buyers pool by not repairing the bearing.

+1 Assuming the problem is limited to the bearing itself, it wouldn't be a terribly costly repair.

Repairing the bearing is the easy part...splitting the case in order to get out all the needle bearings is the pain.

I'm not sure the cases need to be split. I had a cam bearing go bad in my 03 and the indy that did the work said it wasn't necessary. Present owner has added about 30K miles and bike runs like a champ.

I'd get it fixed so the potential buyers wouldn't be limited. Rough market.
