Well I did the ac, exhaust and tuner, wasn't happy.
I then added cams, still wasn't satisfied.
I just finished installing the HQ107ST last weekend. Now, I finally have enough power to satisfy me, at least for a while. So it really depends on how much more you want. A 107 kit or something close to that will get you 115tq or better, depending on the build options associated with it. The cams will give you maybe 90-100tq. These estimates are based on a 96" powerplant, since that's what I was working with. Do your research and if your able to, see if someone in your area has something you can test ride.

Good luck with your quest.

Thanks for the replies. Judging by the comments, it looks like cams would be the next preferred step. Might be a good winter project for this year.

Exactally! Read the posts about the 96" stock performance. Most posts I've read indicate the 96" stockers are a little sleepy. Without some additional fuel and air, based on the posts I've read, you wont get much thrill out of a bigger bore....

How much do you want to spend, and how fast do you want to go? Truthfully, the least expensive option is the one that gets you the most bang for the buck. Take the money you're going to spend on cams or a big bore, go on Craigslist and buy yourself a 5 year old sportbike. You'll mop the floor with every Harley you come across, and you'll save yourself a pile of money.

After spending way more than needed slowing creeping up to the performance level that truly excites me,my suggestion is more cubic inches is the only way to go.

That's not why I did motor work. I just wanted a little more pop when I hit the throttle.
I don't want to be all cramped up, risking life and limb, road racing on public highways.

I've done that when I was young and stupid. I am lucky to be alive today after some of the crap I did.

Just a little more than before and I agree with most everyone here. It really comes down to what you want and how much money you want to spend. o you want get up and go on the bottom, middle ,or top end. Do you want more trq thru the whole range. If you want it thru the whole range compared to what it is now you will need to go with bigger bore. If you want it in certain spots, cams will do.

I just purchased s&s 106 cylinders, pistons, and Tman 555 cams to add to the d&d fatcat, big sucker, and tts tuner I already have. Compression will be 10.2 to 1. It should be enough for now.

Open Close Lift Duration Centerline TDC LSA Overlap
Intake 23 41 555 244 99 212 100.5 44
Exhaust 45 21 555 246 102 196

Did you call tman about the cams. I think you can go a little bigger with that setup. But if your not getting heads too, I guess your fine there. But since your going to the cylinders, you may as well do heads also and get a bigger cam. IMO

Its all I wanted to spend at this time. I got everything to do the job for 1200.00. I did talk to tman and this is what we came up with. I am running the stock heads right now.
