Amsoil experience
No better, no worse than than anything else you can pull off the shelf at any auto supply joint. There's no such thing as an Amsoil refinery. They contract out to Exxon or Shell or who ever the low bidder is.
Keep drinking the kool-aid you faithful cult members!
I hear they are going to start selling Amsair for tires! Comes in big chunks that won't fit thru a screw or nail hole.
Disco down
I had a Chevy truck that had 200+k on it, Amsoil since 15k and never used a drop of oil at 10k changes. I have a Kia that has 70k on it, 1-1/2 years old, no loss of oil on 10k changes. I swapped the tensioners out on my 32k mile hog for the hydraulic cam plate, Amsoil since new, ZERO WEAR on the old tensioners.
A thought to ponder....
Dino oil companies refine there oils enough to meet gov standards, and no more! They have maintain profit margins. They are not going to "over refine" oil just to protect your engine above the sae standard.
Synthetic oils start life as clean, pure perfect base stock. Then the producer adds additives to achieve there goals. They only add what they want in the oils, instead of removing as much as they can afford to.
Just my 2 cents. Amsoil is what will keep my vehicles alive....

of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics, to do the best job protecting your
motorcycle.. What other oil manufacture warranties their oil like Amsoil? I use Amsoil SAE 60 WT because I live in South Florida where the heat and humidity is high. My oil temp on my 2001 Glide rarely exceeds 180 degrees in addition my oil pressure remain higher than other oils. Amsoil is the most researched and tested oil you can buy. In fact, Amsoil is used in Britain in Diesel trucks with a oil changes annually. As you may or may not know vehicle manufactures always recommends changing oil at 3,000 or three months intervals. With Amsoil, you don't need to change you oil at these ridiculous time intervals, and no, it won't affect your warranty. I change my oil twice a year. Save some coins. Of course you can take a look at Amsoil.com if you would like further information and tests results. And, Amsoil is no part of Amway!....If any is ever interested in purchasing Amsoil, contact me and I can hook you up.

You could not pay me to run that crap! They fill their minions with false info to fend off people with knowledge.
The company has oils that they say are for certain thugs that the manufacture will tell you flat out, they will void your warranty if you use that oil.
It's all a sham...

From my trials: absolutely no difference between it and Mobil1, very indiscernable difference in temps from Valvoline, which I run now. It does run cooler than dino, same as other synthetics, but not any 180 degree oil. Matter of fact, that wouldn't even be operating temp.
