Beautiful bike. Just starting 2nd year with my Heritage & love every minute with it. My computer skills are very low & cannot figger out how to post a picture. If some kind soul could list simple step by step to get 'em on like RaceFace has, myself & i'm sure others would appreciate it. I have recieved a lot of information here & i'm thankful for it.
Yes, black H-D is hard to beat. Wish I knew how to post picture & I could show anothern. I read on this Forum someone said how great H-D paint was except for black. Don't understand that.

What I do to post pictures is sign up for a free account on www.photobucket.com. Once you've done that, you can download your pictures into your account off your computer (to make it easier, put the pictures on your desktop, that way you can find them easily). When you have the pictures in your account on Photobucket, bring up the picture. On the left side, there will be 4 options. Use the IMG code on the bottom. Cut and paste that IMG link to your forum thread here or any other forum you are a member of and BINGO, you've posted up your picture! I hope this helps!!
My experience has been that 2005 was a good year for the touring bikes. The only major issue I have heard of is some problems with valve guide seals. I have not had the problem but quite a few have. The other minor issue is the cam chain tensioners, but with 6K on the clock it shouldn't be an issue. Nothing a set of geared cams can't correct!!
38K on mine and it seems to run better all the time.

Thanks for the heads up! The guy I bought it from is the original owner and he purchased the 7 year warranty, so 1.5 years left on it and it is transferable .
A buddy of mine has an '05 EC. No problems with the tensioners or valve seals. He did need to replace the swing arm bearings at about 17,000 miles though.
