Since I rebuilt my motor last winter. I have noticed that when I start up my bike it starts fine. While it's warming up and on high idle its fine but during the transition from high idle to normal idle it will sorta skip a beat and act like it's going to die and then catches it's self and continues to run ok. Then last night going to the store it died at a stop light. Over the past three yrs it has died while riding a few times but never throws a code. All grounds are ok and all electrical connections seem to be fine. any ideas ?
I wanted to test mine to be sure but I did not have the "elec diagnistic manual" that the service manual refers to but for 28 bucks I took a chance and got it on the first sensor I threw at it!
Just connect your SERT up and using data mode you should be able to check your tps. Key on, run switch on, engine not running you will be able to check voltage and % by just twisting the throttle.

I replaced the tps and so far it seems fine. I started it up twice and let it idle and no hickups. bike still seems to run good but it did before besides the idle thing. I guess time will tell. Thanks to those who through there 2 cents in to try and help me !
