I have changed all my 0 colum values from 1000 to 5000 rpms from 15 to 20 per Fuel moto to stop a snap when chopping the throttle. I still get this snap once in a while. Has anyone had or have a decel pop or snap and got rid of it? It seems to run fine other than this once in a while snap. When i first looked at their map they had six's for the front cyl and eight's for the rear cyl 1250 Rpm to 2000 Rpms and they had me put 15s in the 0 colum 1000 to 5000. It got better but still got the pop.
most harleys all pop during decel 1 main reason is with the stock setup you never hear it due to the epa stamped mufflers and headers but when you go to aftermarket exhaust you will hear it some like it some dont i only got it when i went to true dual headers after my entire exhaust was tightened up no leaks still did it so 2 choices either set your fuel to 20 at 0% or take it away like -20 in 0% colume you have to experiment some exhasut just pop cant help it but i fought with this issue nonstop for 3 weeks till i tuned it out with 20% in 0 colume no more pop at all
either you have to add fuel to cool the pipes down or take fuel away so there can be no combustion. but most definatly change your exhaust gaskets there may be a leak you cant see, check all muffler connections and seal them with ultra copper, only after you have elimated all leaks you should be playing with the fuel map
I had the same issue with my Rineharts last month. My decel was set at all 0s. Jamie had me add fuel to 15 in the 0tp for 1750 rpm to 5000 rpm. Never popped again.
