Bought them and glad I did fort he wet and cold times... which in upstate NY is more often than not. Went up to my property last week and the lows were in the mid 40's but the days were perfect... 70s.
They're the ones to go to, any stock HD part is something like 20% off. Just get the part number out of the HD catalog, enter it in the search spot and it'll come up with the list price, press buy now and the discount price comes up.
Finally ordered mine yesterday from Chicago HD! After an agressive internet search and call around to the local stealers (local only offered list price at $649 plus tax- go figure!).....Chicago HD has the lowest price anywhere for the OEM color matched lowers- $539.95 delivered.....Now the wait begins!

I checked Zanottis because i want to pick up a set of vented lowers. $498.00 + 29.38 for shipping. Total = $527.38 (no tax on internet orders). Both killer deals in my book.
While i like the lowers, i'm not that impressed. I think I'll remove them next year and get a pair of desert dawgs for the summer and put them back on in the winter. Or, maybe leave them on. I don't find that they help all that much. Some, but not what i expected. I have a 102 Yamaha Roadstar too, with the desert dawgs and i think they work just as well overall. pluss, you can take them off when its real hot and roll them up and carry them in the saddlebag. Plus, i think you can then add the fork lowers that help with some of the buffetting we read about.
The vented lowers were one of the best mods I made to my Road Glide Custom. They keep the wind, bugs, rain, and debris off and allow enough air through that they are still comfortable in the summer. The added storage is a nice benefit. I can't imagine riding any distance without them.
