Default Vented fairing lowers
Just ordered a pair of color matched vented fairing lowers for my FLHT....my feet will be warm and dry this winter by golly LOL

Well, hopefully they'll be in before the temps start to drop. From what it sounds like, the color matched pieces take a bit to arrive.

I really like your signature. It reminds me of riding with my dad. He typically rides in a bright Hawaiian shirt.

Unless they are heated and wrap around your legs I wouldn't count on being warm and dry...but they do keep some of the wind/road wash off. ....hope you like them and ride safe

Default They do help alot but ...
You still need to wear the right clothes and boots.

Oh and gotta love heated grips for cold wx!!!

I put lowers on my bike after getting tired of coming home with soaked feet. They help a lot. I take them off in July and put them back on towards the end of September.

I've got goretex riding pants and my work boots are waterproof to a point, I figure if the lowers keep most of the spray off I should be fine. I ordered them now because that gives me 2 months before the weather turns, not that it's been anything to write home about so far this year. It's only now starting to get into the 70's and low 80's. been cool and rainy for the most part.

Just invested the cash into a set for my RK, should decrease the wind wash in cooler days when I ride this fall.

Oh, they work very well. My RKC didn't have them, but my Ultra make my feet happy in the rain.

There is another thread suggesting that they will reduce the turbulence associated with the batwing fairing. I shall be monitoring when I put mine back on in the fall.
