I've had 6 HD's and 2 of them (current ride) have been vivid black. PITA to keep up with but very rewarding when done. I really wish that I would have waited to find a denim black bike. Good luck!
Short answer / too much time to keep up and no matter what, I've got swirl marks from taking out the swirl marks. No Vivid Black, at least not as a primary color on top of the tank, saddle bags and tour-pak.
