fatboy fender with lower fairings???

Default fatboy fender with lower fairings???
I have heard that fatboy front fenders will not work if your bike has lower fairings because the "flair" on the back of the fender will hit the lower fairings when you turn sharply. However, I have a road glide with lower fairings and I know that these lowers are a bid different than those on a batwing style bike. Does anyone know FOR SURE if the fatboy fender will work with road glide lowers or not?? Any help greatly appreciated.

check out the HD "street stalker" fender. I believe its the same as a fatboy but no flareout at the bottom.
