Default Headlight modulator double-up??

Through an ordering SNAFU (my sneaky left hand hit the "one-click buy-now" button without knowledge or consent of my right hand) so ...... I've ended up with two different types of daytime headlamp modulators.

I'm thinking about putting one on my headlamp, and the other on my passing lights.

Although I know some of you think it not manly to do something to stop from randomly becoming an AMRAAM (courtesy of a left turning cager's bumper) and still others feel that a flickering light might cause "normally friendly folk" to go all Jihad on ya, but ...in spite of that ....... I would really like opinions on doing this from the people here that:

A - Like an ambulatory lifestyle unencumbered with prosthetic devices, but might see a technical flaw in the consideration.
B - Might know of a legal reason not to do it.
C - Have any funny anecdotes about flickering lights and their impact on the 'Harley riding community' of Marfa Texas.

Regarding legality:

CANADA - Canada Transport:

Hey ..... if I thought it might stop left turning and pulling out in fornt of me's, along with all the other "gee I didn't see you" d-wads from trying to end my life, I'd deck my scoot out like Sting did in this picture of him from Quadrophenia ........

But if I had to wear that tie ........... I'd just go ahead and get hit ......
