I made some saddlebag lid chaps and while doin this I took off the spoiler lights....
just wanted some opinions on whether to leave them off or put them back on
just taped it on so yall could see the difference

Nice work. I like the chaps.

I would leave the spoilers off, but on teh other hand...they serve a safety purpose with th lights.

For asthetics, I prefer leaving them off.

Just my opinion but the more lights, the safer. However, If you don't like those and are going to get rid of them, I'll take first dibs.

OFF. while i wouldn't put them on my bike, i think the chaps matching the seat give you a nostalgic look. the spoiler light completely ruin that.

I'd leave them off, JMHO.
That is some fine leatherwork!!! Did you stitch up the seatcover also?
Always liked brown leather on bikes.
A friend of mine once had an early '80s FLH with brown seat & back rest.
