I would highly recommend the visor style - including the mini visors for the turn signals front and back.

I get a lot of good comments on them, even though they are a subtle addition.

I have the visor style. May have better pics in my album. I won't have a bike without a visor. It's usually the first thing I put on it.

i bought one and when installing it, i got to thinking, this is about the cheeziest mounting ever. why in the world didn't they just extend the original ring and mount it with the single screw at the bottom rather than clamping another piece of chrome over the original ring? i even looked at the headlight visor/trim ring for the softail which mounts like it should, but the screw tab at the bottom is built differently. i suppose with a bit of time with the tig, some sanding and chroming i could come up with something suitable, but that mounting of the trim ring sucks, in my opinion. just another thing to screw with whenever you need to change out a headlight bulb.

Pain in the azz to install the trim ring but you just need to pull the outer fairing to access the bulb.

I think it really adds a more finished look to the front of the bike. Wouldn't be without one. I bought the standard trim ring (whatever it's called) but sometimes think I prefer the visor trim ring. Might change it one day - but I would have to change all of them, so it can wait. Either way - do one of them.
