I'm in search of a decent seat for my 2010 Road Glide. I had a Mustang Vintage Solo on my Fat Bob, and liked it (my wife liked it with the pillion).
I've tried the Road Zeppelin, and the regular 1-piece Mustang Touring, but like the idea of the Super Touring sitting me back 1.75" and lower (I was used to forward controls on the Bob). Has anyone tried this seat? How is it for comfort?
I have the Mustang Super Touring seat on my UC and love it. It does sit you back an inch or so, I always felt as though I was sitting on top of the fuel tank, much more comfortable now. It does seem to sit you a bit lower, but I really can't tell much difference. The comfort of the seat is fantastic compaired to the stock seat. The wife said she doesn't really feel much of a difference, but then again, she has a lot more padding than I do!

If you search for some recent threads there was a fairly new one about Russell seats. The posters were very happy with them. Not the cheapest but what is a bit of azz comformt worth after 6-7oo miles in a day.

Yup, I love my Russell Day Long seat. I just got back from 7 days of riding, about 3,400 miles total with one rest day in the middle. More than half of it was on backroads, including 440 miles of the Natchez trace @ 50 MPH. That adds up to a lot of hours in the seat, with the temperature up to 105 one day.
I had ZERO butt pain. My back, hands and shoulders hurt, but not my butt. I wore regular jeans, with compression shorts underneath.
I'm 6'3", 265 lbs. I had the seat made from a Tallboy seat (you send them your old seat, along with pictures), and it fits perfectly.
