OK here's the situation. I've got an 08 streetglide and the wife and I put a lot of miles on together. After 2 years we finally upgraded the seat to a Sundowner and we're looking at what other comfort upgrades would be worth the money.
I just bought a set of hiway pegs and it was a huge improvement for me.
What I need input on though is how much difference do floorboards make over the stock SG pegs for the passenger. I would like to buy streamliner FBs and move the pegs to the front on the hiway pegs. Is it worth the $315.00 (M&M cycles) I can get the FB's for?
I would appreciate feedback from anyone that's done it. What do your wives say about the upgrade?
The streamliner passenger boards look great. I wanted them but couldn't see paying that much. I bought some HD old school boards on ebay for about a third of that price. The wife is happy. I can't imagine making her ride on back for any distance with the stock pegs.

floorboards work wonders able to move around and not get kinks on long rides, your wife will love you. $260 at dumbassbiker and Tegas thump motorcycle parts
I replaced my passenger footpegs I had on to the H-D rear streamliner floorboards. I'd watch the classifieds here on the forum, I bought my set here for way less from a member. I also added the floorboard extensions from Harleygoodies for both the front and rear. The wifey loves'em.
I AM the Wife, and I have floorboards on our Ultra, plus he gave me highway pegs. Gives me alternate sitting positions and we can ride for many hours before stopping. I made sure I am off the pegs, and down on the boards when we are in the city. Invest in your wife's comfort, you will reap the rewards!

I plugged in the HD part number and they didn't have a match. It looks like they just have aftermarket parts.
Wifes been wanting boards also, seems like there was an issue RE: the one bolt mounts, can't remember just what. If anybody knows what I mean chime in if you would please.
I realize this isn't quite the same.... I recently changed from a Fatboy (with passenger pegs) to a Road King (with stock passenger floorboards). the GF was very appreciative.

We did that same thing. Got the streamliners and moved the pegs to my crash bars. My wife loves the floorboards says they let her feet and ankles relax more.
Check out ebay or amazon, sometimes they are cheaper - we had those and other accessories put on in our bike deal.
My g/f likes the boards better. She said she can move her feet around vs them feeling like they are locked in with pegs. Being a short guy, at stops they hit me in the back of the legs. I ride solo most of the timne since she has her own bike. I have some Stealth boards for sale in the ads.
